History of RND Holdings |

RND Holdings Limited initially began its business operations when Jerome K. Fitzgerald and A. Brent Dean opened its first 5 screen multiplex cinema in March 1994. During the course of the following years RND Holdings expanded its asset base to include at one time or another:
1) A Shopping Center complex in Nassau Bahamas.
2) A Shopping Center complex in Freeport Grand Bahama.
3) A Multiplex Cinema building in Marsh Harbour Abaco
4) A Golds Gym Facility in Nassau
5) A Health & Nutritional operation
6) A Golds Gym Facility in Grand Cayman.
7) An internet based fully automated universal transaction processing system called Ticket Xpress.
The initial funding for the above asset base came from the company’s successful “public offering” in 1998 of 10,000,000 authorized RND Holdings Ordinary Shares, with a par value 0f $0.01 per share. All of the shares were sold.
Today RND Holdings Limited, as a result of both competitive forces as well as the Board of Directors vision for the company’s future, is currently involved in two primary businesses, its commercial real estate business and its automated ticketing business. It has divested itself of its cinema, gym, and health & nutrition business as these were not achieving the company’s desired income hurdle. | |
